Welcome to His House!

His House @ Western Michigan University

Whose House?

His House is a group of students at Western trying to figure out life together.  You might call us a church made up of college students, or a kind of Christian fraternity.  Whatever you want to call it, His House is a community, a gathering of students seeking after God and His will for our lives and the world around us.  As we seek after Him, we come alongside one another, forming bonds of friendship and family.

Yes, there are houses; they’re located on the west edge of campus.  These houses are a gathering place for anyone on campus—a place to learn, grow, and live.  People do live in them, but they are always open to the public.  Come in and hang out, meet someone new, study in between classes, attend a bible study, or take a nap on the couch.  Everyone is welcome!

“But Christ is faithful as a son over God’s house.
And we are
his house if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast.” – Hebrews 3:6

Community Groups

We need community. Community Groups strive to challenge and encourage each other as we walk through life together. Anyone and everyone is invited.

Outreach

We look to live in such a way to reach others with the Gospel. Through mission trips, structured outreach training and events, and in everyday life we want to help others come to know God.
