2017 Spring Appeal

“He is Risen!  Hallelujah!”  The message of the Gospel can be summed up in those four words.  Words that changed the world…words that can also change us.  These four words are still proclaimed today on college campuses, just as they were 2,000 years ago.  His House Christian Fellowship is deeply committed to sharing this message with every student on every campus in Michigan.  However, for us to share this with the greatest number of students, we need your financial help.

The cross and the empty tomb are symbols of death and resurrection.  As we die to self, we can be born again into the Kingdom of God.  “Greater love hath no man than he lay down his life for another.”  This is our message to college students.  Campus Ministry has faithfully and lovingly shared this truth with Michigan college students since 1969.  Thousands have responded by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

This Easter season can be a reminder to each of us of the sacrifice that was made on our behalf.  I personally am reminded of those students who have made that decision as well as those of you who made it possible for us to share the Gospel through your prayers and generous financial support.  Thank you for partnering with us in this great ministry!

We make a special evangelistic outreach on campus at this time every year.  In order for that outreach to be most effective this year, we need your help to enable us to share the true meaning of Easter as an open door to reach students.  Would you consider a special Easter gift this year to help us reach more students on campus with the message that “He is Risen?”

There are so many competing events on campus, it is sometimes difficult to keep students focused on spiritual things.  The Easter season can be that beautiful opening that we seek to engage students.  Your generous gift now will help us reach many unsaved students before the end of this semester.  Please consider how your gift to Campus Ministry could help us to accomplish even more in 2017.  Students have an opportunity to respond today, just as Mary did at the empty tomb 2,000 years ago!

On campus with Christ,
