2017 Fall Appeal

What do hot dogs, popsicles, cups of hot chocolate, and college students have in common?  They are all present on campus as classes start and students settle into the fall semester.  This year, His House Christian Fellowship is anticipating an opportunity to reach more students than ever before, but we will need your support to do it.  Would you be willing to help?

His House Christian Fellowship exists to share the love and hope found in Jesus Christ with university students.  Our dedicated staff help them navigate through some of the most formative and critical years in adult life.  Giving away hotdogs in the late-night hours or cups of hot chocolate to students on the way to class are opportunities for us to show the love of God in simple, practical ways.  It is our hope that these small acts of kindness will prompt the question, “Why?” as His House students are ready to respond!  While we enjoy being generous to the campus communities in which we live, work, and study, our ultimate goal is to initiate spiritual conversations.  For the very first time, many students will personally wrestle with the questions, “Is Jesus who he claims to be?” and “Is He my Lord and Savior?”

Our need this fall is great; however, we serve a God who is greater than all of our needs.  I’m asking you for a gift this fall to help all twelve of our campuses be ready for each opportunity that God provides.  Would you help us reach students on campus this fall with a generous gift that could help introduce students to Jesus?  A gift equivalent to a package of hot dogs, popsicles, and some hot chocolate could mean new life for a student.  What could you do to help this fall?

Sharing Christ on campus,

John Gute
