I've noticed that people tend to join organizations and clubs for the perks provided its members. I joined AAA for the free maps and tour books. I'm a part of a travel club for the hotel disounts. I am a member of Sam's Club so that I can buy Whoppers in bulk. The list goes on. "What's in it for me?" is a common question. But the church is different. Membership in the church is not about privilege, rather, it is about sacrifice and service. Jesus calls us to consider others better than ourselves.

I'm thankful to be a part of a church who does that. This past weekend you considered those who have not yet come and said, "I want to generously give financially to pave the way for more folks to be a part of our church." Praise...
